What Does Stiffness And Pain In The Neck Indicate?

ok, let s see if you are not a robot. I just had my blood checked and I had a very low Red Blood Count, Anemic, and RDW, whatever that is. My neck is so stiff and killing me with migraines, but seems to be more since the Botox I got 4 weeks ago is not working in my neck. My Left side right below my ribs is constantly spamming. So, is this all related or not? Sincerely cautiously wondering spleen worried.

As per your query you have stiffness and pain in the neck. Well it is very important to find out the exact cause of neck stiffness and correct it. Neck stiffness can occur due to may reasons like muscle strains , nerve compression , Injuries ,diseases, cervical spondylosis and Certain diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis . Trapezius muscle or levator scapulae problem can also be one of the reason. I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor will examine physically , ask you to do certain movements and may order CT scan . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant and may recommend specific exercises . For now do stretching exercises and start physical therapy of neck . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy . Apply warm compresses on neck twice a day.
