What does spinal canal narrowing in MRI report of patient with meigs syndrome suggest?

age: 55medical history: is a patient of meige's syndrome.my mothers MRI reports say: normal cervical lordosis is lost. Multiple osteophytic lippings are noted. disc dessication at C2-C3 to C6-C7 levels. Disc protusion causing mild secondary spinal canal narrowing mild thecal compression at C5-C6 &C6-C7 level.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the MRI report is as follows:
There is formation of multiple osteophytes in the spinal canal.
Osteophytes are formed in degenerative condition of the vertebrae.
Disc dessication is also a degenerative condition.
Disc protrusion refers to bulging of the inter vertebral disc.
The bulging disc is causing narrowing of the spinal canal space and thus compression of the surrounding structures.
Further progression can lead to compression of the spinal nerves and thus referred pain.
The Meig's syndrome is not associated with the vertebral changes.
Thus, I would suggest you to consult an orthopedician for further management.
Initially, the condition can be managed by rest.
