General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you the most likely cause of your pain is due to nerve compression. It can be carpal tunnel or median neuropathy. The only way to diagnose it is clinical examination by a physician. He may advice you to get a nerve conduction test done. It is not relieved by normal painkiller s. You may have to take Gabapentin or carbamazepine. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
