Hello when I stand on my legs for a few seconds or up to a minute. My legs feel like the going to give away and feel like they are not there and I feel like I m gonna pass out. They hurt all the time and one leg always feels cold inside and out along with swelling really bad. Can you help me please to know what s going on?
Weakness in the legs may have many causes e.g electrolyte imbalance, low calcium, muscle or nerve problems and low blood pressure. Besides these, there may be other causes of weakness as well.
So it is very important to be evaluated, this may need detailed examination of your limbs and certain tests. So please your doctor as soon as possible for proper evaluation and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Muhammad Zahir Shah, Internal Medicine Specialist
