What Does Severe Pain In The Upper Abdomen On The Left Side Indicate?

I went to the ER with a severe pain on my left upper area with soft stool too. They prescribed me as I am having an ulcer. The did some blood test to disregard infection. They prescribed me with Carafrate and Pepcid for 10 days Is this going to help me? My condition is uncertain. What I should do if this persists?

hello! hi f your condition doesn't improve after 10 days get an USG abdomen done. Also if they are suspecting peptic ulcer you should get an endoscopy done.
