Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to the bathroom the other day and went to get up and my lower back was killing me. It got better with hear and ice. This morning, while getting out of bed, that same sharp pain came back. It is all across the lower back and radiates to the front. I have no bowel problems or anything and it gets better if I stay still or lay down. Actually it disappears, unless I try to stand straight up. I was in a car accident many years ago and compressed fracture my T11. T12. L1, L2 and as a result I have developed stenosis in my spine.
