What Does Red Discoloration In The Chest Indicate?

I have a red discoloration in the middle of my chest. Sometimes it burns and other times it itches. It comes and goes. Its very noticeable and Ive had it for a few weeks off and on. Any idea what it may be? Everything on here points to a broken bone and I know its not a broken bone.

Hi There

After going through your query I understand your concern.

I would like to tell you that changes in skin color are illness, injury, and inflammatory problems. If you are sure about any injury has not happened then causes for your chest skin discoloration can be due to any illness like autoimmune disease and allergies or skin infection that needs to be evaluated for proper treatment.

Kindly personally consult a Dermatologist for physical & diagnostic evaluation and further treatment.

Hope to have been helpful.

Kind Regards
Dr. Navneet Bansal
