What Does Recurring Cough, Fever And Cold In A Child Indicate?
My son who is 5 yrs old has been suffering for the past one month from cough , cold and fever and had antobiotics three times first time for throut infection, second for the bacterial infection and the third one for the bronchitis. Is he allergic? How should i protect him from these problems?
Children tend to get viral infection most commonly. No need for antibiotics most of the time, unless they have a bacterial infection of the tonsils or ears or a severe lung infection, pneumonia.
It is due to exposure to other children having infections and helps to build immunity to the new viruses.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
