What Does Recurring Boils On My Upper Back Imply?

I keep getting boils on my upper back, I try to let them just go away but then the next day I get more! I have low blood pressure, but I am healthy otherwise. I wash daily and I always use clean towels, clothes and bedding. I am a very clean person but I do work in a greasy environment however, I shower after work. What is causing these boils? I wear tank tops so I have no tight clothing where these boils keep occuring, it s very embarassing and irritating. I constantly ask whats wrong with me whenever anyone sees them, if I explain kthey say ewww so I normally lie by saying there bug bites. Please help! I hardly have time to go see a dr. as I always work during the office hours.

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is furunculosis which is an infection of the hair follicle. It can be treated with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin. You must avoid pricking or fiddling with them. A short course of oral antibiotic like azithromycin might also help. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
