Ophthalmologist 's  Response
HELLO, First of all whether the purple area appeared today or was it noticed today? If it appeared today immediately after shower then it might be any kind of allergic reaction to eyelid but if you noticed today and it was few days back then you must observe whether it is increasing in size or colour or is it coming outwards more.Because it might turn out to be some kind of benign growth. So it is better to consult and ophthalmologist and get the check up done before any complication can occur.
