What Does Pressure In Vagina During Menopause Indicate?
I am 56 years old and in menopause. I have recently felt a bubble like sensation and a little pressure in my vagina. When showering and washing, I thought I also felt a protrusion inside the area. I am going to my doctor in a week but was wondering if I could get an answer as to what this could be.
Commonly support to the pelvic floor weakens after menopause. Pelvic floor exercises & estrogen cream help to strengthen the vaginal tissue & help to improve the vaginal pressure felt. The pressure in the vagina during menopause may be indicative of developing prolapse, advancing age & parity, uro-gynecological dysfunction, incontinence or sexual dysfunction.
You are recommended to get physically examined & get evaluated for the pathology causing you discomfort. You may need HRT, get treated at the earliest. In the meantime do regular exercises, stay away from stress & anxiety.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
