What Does Presence Of Albumin In Diabetic Patient's Urine Indicate?

I got my annual checkup done last week. I am a diabetic. While most of the test results were in normal or near normal range, my urine test has shown albumin presence. What I should do now. My doctor has not commented on this during checkup/perusal of reports.

Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.Presence of albumin in urine often the first sign of diabetic kidney disease. Other things that can cause albuminuria are kidney disease (like nephritis), high blood pressure, infection and strenuous exercise.
So i will suggest you to go for urine test once more and take to your treating doctor as early as possible.Get your blood pressure check regularly.
Wish you good health.
