What Does Positive Pregnancy Test Followed By Negative Results Indicate?

Hello - I took a Clear Blue Easy OPK test yesterday morning at 5:30am but and got a positive smiley face (I drink a lot of water and go to the gym in the morning so find it almost impossible to not drink anything for 4 hours after the time I wake up). I took another test the same night at about 6pm and got a negative and then this morning at 5:30am I got another negative. We did have sex last night and then this morning and then plan to again tonight. I also take my BBT which shows that I do ovulate around my 13-16th day (its never really the same). Yesterday was the 13th day of my cycle - so I m hoping to have timed it correctly but am worried that I got the negative this morning and not a second positive.

Hi,

Two negative tests reliably rules out pregnancy. Initial one may be false positive. Also, sex done during last 24-48 hours is unlikely to cause a positive result now. We have to wait for few days for fertilisation to occur and show up in test.
