What Does Positive Anti-gliadin IgG Blood Test Indicate?

my 11/2 yr old daughter blood tested antigliadin Igg a weak positive and anti endomyesal IgA negative.. the ped says, its a borderline case and only need to avoid wheat...is she really celiac? or is it just some temporary thing? should i be taking it more seriously? she is only 8.5kgs even though she eats well..

As per the report that you have written, anti gliadin IgG is weakly positive, this suggest that your child might have celiac disease.
In celiac disease, there is allergy to wheat and it should be avoided lifelong.
However, to confirm diagnosis we need to do intestinal biopsy. Kindly do intestinal biopsy test to confirm diagnosis.
