What Does Polypoidal Mucosal Thickening In Both Sinuses And Mild Mucosal Thickening Mean?
What is meant by the report : Note is made of polypoidal mucosal thickening in both sphenoid sinuses and mild mucosal thickening in both ethmoid sinuses and DNS left side and hypertrophied inferior turbiantes. Is it something serious or normal and can it be cured by medicine or surgery is required for this.

Your nasal findings are suggestive of allergic manifestation of nose. Swelling like changes in lining of nose. Sinus are air filled bony cavities surrounding nose, even they are showing thickening of mucosa. Nasal septum(partition between two nostrils) is some what deviated towards left side, means left side nostril is reduced in size. Your findings are all allergic manifestation in nose. These are treatable condition.Consult your doctor for prescription of suitable medications.
DNS depending on severity of obstruction needs surgical correction. Polyps in nose removed by FESS surgery.
