What Does Pink Vaginal Discharge Indicate?

I have a normal 3-5 cycle every month. It always starts out heavy then stops. This month I started a day early and it was a light pink discharge when ever I wiped. As the day went on it gradually turned to a dark red. I wore a pad but there was hardly any blood on it. I would only see the blood when ever I would pee and wipe. I never had cramping either until now. Now its a little heavier flow but not much with small clots but only when wiping. Im confused this has never happened to me before.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

The symptoms you are experiencing can be either a normal menstrual cycle or early miscarriage. If you do not start to have normal bleeding,, you develop severe abdominal pain/cramps bleeding is too heavy or bleeding does not stop after the usual 3-5 days, please be advised to follow up with your gynecologist.

Hope this answers your question
Please let me know if you need further clarifications
