What Does Pimple Like Lump Filled With Yellowish Thick Puss On Groin Mean?
My boyfriend has this big huge pimple looking thing and it had a black thing on the tip and the black part peeled off and the big pimple was filled with like a yellowish thick puss in it and he squezzed a little and it popped and now he has a hole on it and it looks deep and if Yu look down in it , it looks like there s more puss in it . What could it be ?
I suggest a possibility of sebaceous cyst. Sebaceous cyst is a collection of thick, cheesy, foul smelling material contained in a cavity lined by sebaceous glands. The cyst may have a surface opening that is usually visible as a punctum on the surface. Punctum may be visible as a small black spot. The cyst may empty its contents outside through this punctum. The cyst may refill if it is not removed along with the lining wall. Rarely the cyst may get infected and then it becomes painful. Treatment of a sebaceous cyst is through surgical removal of the lining cyst wall either through a small incision made at skin surface. Alternatively the whole of the cyst can be excised. I suggest you to talk to a surgeon Or a dermatologist for the needful.
