What Does Pelvic Inflammatory Disease In My Abdominal Scan Report Suggest?
Heloo Pls I did a scan todwy cos I was having some pain on the lower left side of my abdomen n the scan that the piuch of douglas is modrrstely filled with fluid and suspect a pelvic inflamatory desease.pls don, what does this mean n canIit affect my getting pregnant.

I really appreciate your concern, first of all it is not the pregnancy pouch of Douglas filled with some water then it could be nonspecific if it is minimal in quantity else it need to be ruled out for abscess and ascites, antibiotic can be taken if this is infection but condition need to be confirmed first, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
