What Does Pelvic US Showing Endometrium Midline Echo Mean?

I have just received the results of a pelvic ultrsound, which says: Endometrium Midline echo seen. Endometrium appears subseptate at the fundus. Total thickness 12mm

Left ovary contained a 16 x 14mm well defined custic area with internal echoes consistent with a collapsed follicle

What does this mean please?

Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
Endometrium midline echo described the appearance of the endometrium. The endometrium varies in appearance as per the time of period. Normal thickness is upto 15 mm. In your case its 12 mm so its within normal limits.
The left ovarian follicle is also normal. Both the ovaries contain follicles normally so it is just describing the follicles.
The Ultrasound report is normal and there is no significant abnormality.
Hope it sorts your problem.
