What Does Pain Under The Right Armpit Indicate?

I have had a pain under my right armpit going towards my right shoulder blade for about a week. Masages and and heat have not helped. In fact i think they have made the pain a little more acute.I am not sure if I strained the area but may have. I am male, 61 years old, and in good health as far as i know. Concerned.

Hi,

This may be definitely frozen shoulder. Usually, if the muscles of the shoulder joint are strained then the joint motion becomes very difficult and you will feel very painful and reduced range of movements.

So, kindly get examined with any orthopedic and get steroid infiltration done with the range of movement correction which is the best procedure you can get it done for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
