What Does Pain In The Right Testicle Indicate?

I am a 58-year old white male. I am taking no medications of any kind. My right testicle aches; the feeling began about ten days ago but has become more noticeable over the past three days. There appears to be no swelling, no blood in the urine, I have no fever, aches, or pains, no trouble sleeping, no trouble eating. Tumescence, intercourse, and ejaculation do not seem to be affected.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There can be many causes for your pain. It can be due to simple causes like trauma, tight undergarments or prolonged sexual arousal. But sometimes there may be serious causes like testicular torsion, inguinal hernia or epididymitis. I would advise you to get yourself checked by a surgeon for proper diagnosis. He may advise you a scrotal ultrasound depending upon the results of physical examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman
