What Does Pain In The Ribs Ad Chest Indicate?

Hi, so my boyfriend has been having pains in his ribs and chest and it is hard to breathe this has been going on for a few days now and we went to PEDS on Friday and the did an ekg and they said it was a little irregular but it was nothing to worry about but the next day he still was having the same symptoms but worst so they waited a day then we went to the er and they took blood and another ekg and a chest X-ray and they said that the blood was good and so was the X-ray but it has been gradually getting worst and he threw up 3times today he has an appointment on the 27th but he doesn’t think he can wait that long. I looked up his symptoms and I found a heart rhythm disorder could that be it

exclude injury to rib so other wise it is costoochondritis take-xray and consult pulmunologist. if thereisevidence of fractureorhair line fracture then strapping can be done to give rest to ribs. take ecg may be pace problem so-consult cardiologist and if advised pacemaker can befitted. cardiologist can be consulted for clinical examination and advise on treatment.
