Hi, I have a pain in the pelvic area right area just in the pelvic bone region, I got a urinalysis and everything was negative but it says EPI (epithelial cells) occasional and squamous, bacteria - occasional, and mucus - many. Also WBC 0-1. Tried septra antiobiotic but it did nothing
hi, The whole of your hip bone is called the pelvic bone. So I cannot comment on the reasons of your pain unless I know where exactly it is... whether front or back. however with regards to your urine analysis, Epithelial cells are normal to be present. bacteria occasional can also be normal as it might have come from the surrounding skin and normal harmless bacteria. The most important factor is WBC count, we call it UTI only when WBC are more in urine. However ur urine WBC count is Normal. Therefore it is not UTI
