Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

These may be due to esophageal spasms (contractions) which can be experienced as painful. I would recommend you to use omeprazole 20 mg twice a day and if no improvement in 3-4 weeks of using it you will need to see your doctor and have a upper GI endoscopy to examine your esophagus and stomach with a camera and visualize if there is a problem. If endoscopy is normal your doctor might do barium enema test to rule out achalasia.

If you have lost weight recently you might consider seeing your doctor soon, before trying the omeprazole, to have the endoscopic examination first.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
