What Does Pain In Stomach, Diarrhea, Nausea And Flu After Childbirth Mean?

I recently had a baby. on 8-9-14. I was kept in the hospital til 8-13-14 because of high blood pressure. the night we got home I became very sick and had flu like symptoms. the next day it was better, but returned that night worse so we went to the Er. they gave me 2 bags of iv fluids and an iv antibiotic. I was severely dehydrated and had an advanced uti. I have been on antibiotics since yesterday at 4 oclock and am still having moderate pain in my upper abdomen, diarrhea, nausea and crampiness/spasm feelings. I also took my temp and it was 98.2 under the arm. what could be causing this?

Hello.
Don't worry.
Abdominal cramp like pain occurs as uterus is involuting that means reducing in size to original size which takes 1 and a half month.
Secondly you have started antibiotics which can cause gastritis ensure you have food properly.
If abdominal pain is severe and does not resolve in another 48 hrs than consult doctor.
