Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does Pain Below The Navel Along With Vomiting Indicate?
Me and my gf had intercourse. After 1 day or two she started feeling pain below her navel button, vomiting and loose motion. It was her first time that she had sex. Now she is been feeling stomach cramps that lasts for hours longer. Now that she can t move.. what would be the possible causes and treatment.
The possible causes are: 1. Semen contains a molecule called prostaglandin, and if a woman is sensitive to it, its release into the vagina during ejaculation could result in cramping afterward.
2. Another possibility is that the bladder gets irritated from the friction during intercourse; that can also feel like cramps after intercourse.
3. The organs such as the ovaries or the uterus may get jostled or hit during intercourse in a way that potentially leads to pain during or after sex.
So, use Condom during intercourse, use comfortable position and empty the bladder before intercourse. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor so that he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
