What Does Pain Behind The Ears While Swallowing Indicate?

I have had esophagus dilation and stomach biopsy. I had a swollen lymph node that went away after I got a tooth pulled. I had a second egd on 12/11, 2017. I still have pain behind my ear and in my throat when I swallow. I had a CT of the Neck with contrast on 12/27 which showed nothing.

Pain behind the ear during swallowing indicates a clinical condition known as TMJ disorder (temporomandibular disorder). It is due dysfunction or spasm of your jaw joint. As a first line treatment you can try analgesics and muscle relaxants like Diclofenac and Baclofen combination. Stretching exercises and physiotherapy also provide symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
