What Does Pain Around The Solar Plexus Indicate?

Pain around the solar plexus. It is pretty much constant these days (developing over the last few years) but usually is dull and minor. I was thinking it was muscle pain as I have been exercising hard the last year. But at times (more often lately) that it keeps me up at night as it hurts and there is no position that eases the discomfort. I kind of comes in waves with varying degrees of severity. I also seem to have gas with bad tasting burps and flatus. Seldom but at times I also vomit with the condition (although that is rare). Not sure if it is related but I also seem to suffer from redness of the skin over the body. Especially in the face as I get flushed once in a while.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi. You seem to have a case of a disease called GERD. I also have noted that you have burps and flatulence and would suggest that you take pantoprazole capsules twice a day. Keeping this in mind, the redness of the skin is an unrelated condition, and this medication should cure your problem. Thanks and regards.
