What does numbness on the left eyebrow indicate?

I had a laceration on my eyebrow on the left side glued 48 hours ago. Since then the left side of my head from the eyebrow up has been numb. Is this anything to worry about or should I give it more time to recover. There was a blow to my head that caused the laceration.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

No need to worry much about this.
For recovery, you should wait for 1 more week.
Actually laceration causes damage to nerves of local area.
And nerve regeneration needs at least 6-10 days.
So it is better to wait. Apply ice packs on area of numbness.
You will mostly improve in a week’s time.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
