Hi!
welcome to HCM!
Usually, a basic physical exam, a semen analysis and often a blood test to assess hormone levels such as FSH, LH and Testosterone is done to assess fertility. Depending on the results of these tests, your treating doctor may require more tests
Semen Analysis is used to assess the following:
movement of the sperm (swimming ability), percentage of sperm that have a normal shape, number of individual sperm present in one ejaculation and sperm’s ability to live and endure.A Semen Analysis can help clarify whether a man has a reproductive problem that is causing infertility, and also determine s what fertility treatment options are reasonable. You have a normal semen analysis report there doesnt seem to be any problem.
hope this helps!
