hello doctor, i just tested my urine and it founds like ph- alkaline color- light yellow trans: turbid albumin: nil pus cells: 2-4 /hpf epithelial cells: 3-5 /hpf RBC: nil i tested because my partner got WBC: plenty as per him he has been infected by gonorrhea please suggest me as per the my report
gonorrhea presents with white cervical discharge in female and white urethral discharge in male. if you have something like above clinical symptoms, microscopic examination(specially gram stain is required) of that discharge will be helpful for diagnosis.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Your urine report is within normal limit. However, your partners urine report shows plenty of white blood cells. Presence of white blood cells suggest urinary tract infection. Urine culture needs to be done to know the infectious agent causing infection and thus treatment.
