Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Ihave a pain in my lower right side. I have had an ultrasound, xrays and a ct scan. Everything looks goos except for a tiny dependant gallstone. scattered artherosclerosis is noted. I have pain as the day goes on, none while I am sleeping. I have been told it may be my inguinal liament. What do you think? Mike
From what you are reporting to me, everything is clear: you are having gallstones. They are responsible for the pain you are experiencing on your lower right side.
So, should consult further with gastrohepatologist to decide for best treatment strategy: medications? surgery? or other alternatives.
For the moment, I can only suggest watching what you eat especially to avoid oily/chilly/spicy foods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
