Hi,

According to your ultrasound report you are having bilateral polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD). PCOD usually presents with reproductive hormonal imbalance and insulin resistance leading to irregular menstrual periods, anovulation, etc. This can affect the fertility, sometimes.

The measures that can help you are:
- Taking tablets to correct the reproductive hormonal imbalance like to combine hormonal pills, tablets to increase the insulin sensitivity
- Once these factors get corrected, you can go for ovulation induction tablets to increase the possibility of pregnancy
- The general measures that can help in decreasing the PCOD are taking regular balanced, healthy diet, regular calories burning exercises and maintaining normal body mass index

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
