General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What test you have undergone is a serological test to detect typhoid fever. It is called WIDAL test.
The result is indicating that you could have typhoid fever.
It can be treated with a course of appropriate oral antibiotics. Fever can be controlled by taking Paracetamol.
Along with this you need to take adequate rest for a week and continue with bland diet & intake of good quantities of fluids for about 3 weeks.
Gradually, you can switch over to noramal diet after 3 weeks.
Kindly consult Physician for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
