What Does My Lipid Profile Test Report Indicate?

Hi I am 34 Years old with 74 KG weight. 14th May 2017 I had TG of 266 and Cholestrol of 233. 10th June Just four weeks after the above test, I got my second test done. I have TG of 464 and Total Cholestrol of 198. This was the result of second Lipid Profile Test. For four weeks I did some running and stretching exercise. And now for past 10 days, I am taking Fenofibrate 200 mg. I feel nauseatic with muscle pain. And since yesterday I have some discomfort in chest, little pain too around heart area and burning feeling. Should I go for a lower dose of Fenofibrate? Kindly help. Ankit

Welcome to HealthcareMagic

I will suggest that before taking drugs you should use non-pharmacological effects means instead of taking drugs.

1 take to morning or evening walk
2 avoid fast foods or fried foods
3 avoid alcohal and smoking
4 avoid sweets and refined carbohydrates

Keep BP and sugar level under control as your lipid profile are not too high. I will suggest to use above methods for at least 3 months before drugs . Yes, the Fenofibrate gives effects which you are having now .

If you have any further query then you can come back to HealthcareMagic, I will definitely help you

With Regards
