What Does My Lipid Profile Test Report Indicate?

Hi,on 24th june i have done my lipid profile. my cholesterol is 311 Triglycerides is 820 Hdl cholesterol is 35 Ldl cholesterol is 133 vldl cholesterol is 142. my doctor suggest to take Rozavel F i need to ask you that this medicine is it useful for me

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Going through your lipid profile report, it is little alarming as some of the parameters are extremely high.
Total Choleseterol level of 311mg% and Triglycerides of 820mg% is extremely high and carries a high risk for coronory artery disease. HDL cholesterol, which is supposed to be good cholesterol is quite low.
Hence, what the doctor has asked you take the medication is right one.
Rozavel F contains 'Rosuvastatin', which is a member of the drug class of statins and is used to treat high cholesterol and related conditions, and to prevent cardiovascular disease. Fenofibrate is another composition of drug which would decrease the absorption of cholesterol across intestine.
But you need to combine this therapy with diet and exercise for effective control of the lipid levels within normal limits.
