What Does My Lipid Profile Report Indicate?

hi doc i just want to know what is mean of my result test of my lipid profile i am 26 turning 27 years old female and i got my lipid test like i have serum cholesterol 173.3 my Hdl cholesterol 51.3 my ldl cholesterol 112.1 and my S.triglycerides 49.6 and my VLDL CHOLESTEROL 9.92 LDL /HDL RATRIO 2.19 MY TOTAL CHOLESTROL HDL 3.38 what is this means i have alos microcystosis in my red blod cells count

I read your question and I understand your concern.

Regarding the lipid profile those values are inside the desirable levels and there is no need to worry on that regard, it's all fine.
As for microcytosis, it's just a descriptive term meaning small red blood cells. It might not mean much, its significance depends on other blood count values, on whether there is anemia or not. The most common cause is iron deficiency.

Hi overall view indicates that your blood lipid levels are within normal range. Your HDL levels are good for a female. I would advice you to keep doing regular mild work outs and continue healthy habits in your diet, About the microcytosis please let us know your hemoglobin level and red blood cell count to assess the situation further.
