What Does My Following Medical Report Indicate?

RBCC-anisopoikilocytosis with hypochromasia. There are mostly microcytes with sperocyctes, ovalocytes, target and pencil cells seen. Some cell show polychromasia. Red cell distribution width: Raised. Red cell count: Raised. ---- Can you further explain this as I don't really understand. Is it the impression of hypochromic microcytic anaemia ?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the test results is as follows:
The red blood cells show variation in size and shape.
A raised RDW suggests variation in size and shapes of red blood cells.
Polychromasia refers to presence of immature red blood cells called reticulocytes in peripheral blood.
This is typical picture of microcytic hypochromic anemia.
Presence of reticulocytes suggests that treatment for iron deficiency anemia or iron therapy has been initiated.

Thanks and take care
