What Does My Cholesterol Test Report Indicate?

male. 33 yrs old. I have asthma. I weigh 80 kilos and my height is 183 cm. My HDL is 1.04 and my LDL is 3.4. These results were taken after 3 months of very good diet and exercise. How can I still improve my results? It was very difficult to always try to eat healthy and exercise as many factors take place in my situation (social, work environment, lack of organic foods, etc)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that You should have fish and cod liver oil tablets as they are a very rich source of HDL and lowers total cholesterol.

Otherwise, all the precautions that you took do definitely reduce this issue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
