What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

i RECENTLY HAD BLOOD TEST. THE NURSE HAD CALLED AND SAID THE RESULTS WERE ACCEPTABLE. I REQUESTED A COPY. THERE ARE TWO THINGS HIGHLIGHTED ON THE TEST. MY MCV IS 110.7 WHICH IS HIGH, ACCORDING TO THE STANDARD RANGE, AND MY MCHC IS 27.8, WHICH IS LOW, ACCORDING TO THE STANDARD RANGE. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

mcv is mean cell volume of rbcs... u have to check ur hemoglobin if it is less then it can be megaloblastic anemia which occurs in vit b12 deficiency... other causes of increased mcv are alcoholism liver disease and hypothyroidism... so u should consult a physician he wll ask for further work up
