What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

I have just had an MRI done on my lower back and have got the results back which I understand but on the report it says of incidental note is a prominent appearing uterus which is incompletely imaged. My doctor did not discuss this line with me and I only noticed it when I got home. Should I be concerned about a prominent appearing uterus?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The uterus seems to be enlarged but it is not visualized well in the MRI. This means that the doctor can not give detailed information on why the uterus is large. Maybe an ultrasound examination would be a good choice to visualize the uterus and fully understand what is going on.

I hope I have answered your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
