What Does My LFT Test Report Indicate?

Hi I m suffering from jaundice can you help me out hw much time it would take to recover Did a lft test on 24 th April, 2016 Sgot 432 Sgpt 2305 Bilrubin total 4.39 Bilrubin direct 2.29 Did ultrasound nothing observed. Hepatitis e is positive 7 th may lft test are SGOT 28.2 SGPT 67.1 ID BILRUBIN 0.81 DIRECT BILRUBIN 0.60 Please help nd let me know if my jaundice is cured nd do I need to do a again LFT test and if there is any danger with my liver and if nw can I take regular diet.

Hello,

This will take at least a month to recover properly from this illness. Your jaundicr will too take a month to recover. I suggest you to visit your doctor regularly and get tested for jaundice and its possible complications as well. Take plenty of fluids and glucose containing products to recover from this sooner.
