What Does My HSG Test Report Indicate?

Hi, Im 25 year old.im having pcod and thyroid problem.im trying ti conceive but no result.my doctor sugested to do HSG.Here are the result: Left tube:1.slightly delayed filling seen 2.normal proximal and mid tube 3.moderate ampullary dilatation 4.distal folds preserved 5.fimbrial end dilated 6.tubal pressures not elevated 7.free spill seen RIGHT TUBE:1.normal proximal and mid tube 2.ampullary coiling and clumping seen 3.distal folds preserved 4.fimbrial end clumped 5.tubal prrssures not elevated 6.free spill seen IMPRESSION: 1.both tubes are patent with free spillage.however ,left hydrosalpinx 2.category 2A My doctor said that see for 2 more months naturally .if not conceived we will do laproscopy and clip the left tube.she said that no treatment for the left tube to become to normal. Can i conceive??? Please inform me what is my condition in detail and treatment for it

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the HSG report you have furnished, it appears that there is problem with the Fallopian tubes on both the sides, particularly more so on the left side. This could have been due to inflammation or infection that could have occurred previously.
Although the tubes are patent on both the sides, there could be difficulty in conceiving naturally as due to certain lesions, there could be difficulty in movement of sperms and ovum hampering fertilization process. There are chances that you may land up in ectopic pregnancy also.
Hence, go by the advise by your doctor. If it does not happen naturally in the next two cycles, you could consider going in for assisted reproductive techniques like in vitro fertilization (IVF).
