Hello and welcome to HCM,
The fertility decreases after 40 years of age but conception can occur if menopause has not set in.
FSH level in blood and urine are used to determine whether menopause has set in or not.
During menopause the blood and urine levels of FSH start increasing.
The blood FSH level reaches upto 30 mIU/mL during menopause.
Thus, level of 6.5 mIU/mL is not suggestive of menopause.
The chances of conception can be increased by having intercourse on fertile days.
Fertile days are determined by basal body temperature and examination of cervical mucus.
You can consult your gynecologist regarding determination of fertile days.

Thanks and take care
