What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?
do to a fall & some broken ribs three months ago just had a CT scan. My primary care physician said there is an accumulation of thickened blood at the bottom of my right lung, it hurts when I take a deep breath & I feel my breathing is shallow. My family Dr. says the body will absorb the blood in my lung but it will take time. My concern is is this the way to deal with the problem or should i be doing something else?

Small blood clot within your lung should not be causing pain and should be absorbed soon save for a small scar. I suspect the pain is more likely from the ribs which may be taking a little more time to heal than usual. But it is not very likely that it will bother you in the long run.
