Hello,

Usually, kidneys contain nephrons which may drain the urine into one kidney part is called calyx from there it may reach the ureter the bladder then excretion.

It is a normal process. But in your calyx part having filling defect means it may be a stone or polyp or a tumour etc. Until examination is done by CT abdomen or urethroscopy.

Please consult your urologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
