What Does Metallic Taste In The Mouth During Pregnancy Indicate?

A 5-mo pregnant 30-year old severe flushing of her face and neck, also couldn t see everything is white also a metallic taste in her mouth. Perhaps allergic reaction?, After going outside in cool air then sitting down and calling her superviser, who later came while she waited for her boyfriend to come pick her up.

Hello,

If you are pregnant and taking iron tablets, then it is obvious that you can get this symptom as side effects such as metallic taste, flushing, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, feverish, et cetera.

If it is not that, then you need to be evaluated with the detailed history and examination to find out what exactly causing you all these symptoms.

An allergic reaction can also cause these symptoms for which you need to evaluate what’s causing your allergy. Anti-histaminic might help you in this regard.
