What Does Medicine Bottle Reading Every 6 Hours As Scheduled Mean?

When the label reads Take every 6 hours as SCHEDULED Does that mean Take 2 every 6 hours or Take 2 every 6 hours as needed for pain (If in pain person can take 2 every 6 hours or if not in pain person does not need to take it} The term SCHEDULED is confusing me.

As per your query take every 6 hours as scheduled means the medicine which is prescribed to you by your doctor has to be taken after every 6 hours that means in a day of 24 hours the medicine has to be taken 4 times.

Scheduled here means that when a doctor gives you a medicine he advises you the way it is taken like after meals or before meals or empty stomach and so on..
SO you are given a schedule and medicine has to be taken accordingly for the number of days the doctor has advised you to take...
