Hi. I last year I found a golf ball size lump on my left rib cage. Now its the size of a softball and in the same area there are three more golf ball size lumps. About three days ago in that whole area its been hurting so bad. I can't bend over. It hurts to laugh or breath in to deep. I don't if that has to do with the lumps or not. But the pain is so awful and its so tender and in the same area. On my left side just on the bottom of left rib cage. Or just below the bottom left rib cage . In the vicinity. Idk what to do. I only work part time. And lost my medical benefits at the start of the new year.
Hi, Any swelling if increases in size , becomes itchy, painful or tender to touch, discharge esp blood, ulcerate etc . then these could be either benign or malignant growth and needs proper diagnosis through examination and investigation including biopsy . As you have swelling / lump over thoracic cage which is increasing in size and become tender / painful must be examined . So in my opinion you should visit general surgery dept and get proper treatment.
Thanks n regards
