What Does Lower Backache On The Right Side Indicate?

Hello, I have been having a pain in my right side and my lower right back. Went to the doctor and they checked me for a urinary track infection, did not have one. They also did an ultrasound on my ovaries and they looked good and no cysts. I keep thinking I have kidney stones but the doctor says no because I have no blood in my urine. Is that correct? Can you have kidney stone even if you have no blood in your urine? Thank you!
